KONPOLI Terms & Conditions. Effective September 1, 2026.

1. Who we are. These terms govern orders placed with KONPOLI USA INC ("KONPOLI") through konpoli.com. Orders placed on konpoli.eu or konpoli.nl are governed by those sites' terms.

2. Trade accounts. KONPOLI sells to professional photographers, studios, and commissioned clients through approved trade accounts. Approval is at KONPOLI's discretion. Account holders are responsible for the accuracy of the files, orders, and shipping details they submit.

3. Handcrafted goods. Every KONPOLI product is made to order by hand. Natural materials such as leather, linen, and wood vary in grain, texture, and tone; these variations are characteristics of the craft, not defects. Minor dimensional variation is characteristic of handmade production and is not a defect.

4. Files, proofs, and approval. Products are produced from the files as submitted. When KONPOLI designs an order, the account holder reviews and approves proofs before production, and approval confirms the layout, text, and images as final; errors present in approved proofs, including typographical errors, are the account holder's responsibility. When the account holder designs the order, submission of the files constitutes approval. Color is reproduced to professional standards on calibrated equipment; differences between screen and print are inherent and are not defects.

5. Production and delivery times. Standard production is 12 business days from approval, excluding transit. Holiday production windows and cutoffs are published each season at konpoli.com/information. Rush production is available as published: standard rush at $99 per item with a 7-day production turnaround, unavailable November 15 through January 5, and Holiday Rush at $198 with a 7-day production turnaround during the holiday season. Rush applies to production, not transit. Production times are estimates and exclude carrier transit and customs clearance.

6. Shipping and inspection. Orders ship via FedEx or DHL. Shipping is free on U.S., Canada, and Mexico orders over $400; flat rates and quotes apply elsewhere as published. International duties and taxes are the recipient's responsibility. Risk of loss passes on delivery. All orders must be opened and inspected within 10 calendar days of delivery. If the exterior shipping box shows any damage, the recipient must photograph and film the exterior before opening, and photograph and film the interior packaging and product condition upon opening, so a claim can be submitted with FedEx or DHL. Claims submitted after 10 calendar days are reviewed case by case. In the absence of documented exterior box damage or clear evidence of shipping-related impact to the interior packaging, KONPOLI cannot guarantee a free reprint or remake.

7. Quality warranty. Every KONPOLI product is handmade and designed to be enjoyed. KONPOLI warrants its products as follows, from the date of delivery. (a) Binding and construction, lifetime: binding separation, adhesive failure, page detachment, and spine or block construction defects are covered for the life of the product. (b) Materials and finish, 12 months: cover delamination, lifting foil or debossing, endsheet separation, and material defects not caused by use. (c) Visible on arrival, 10 days: print quality, color reproduction against the approved files, specification errors, and shipping damage must be reported within the inspection window in Section 6. Remedy under this warranty is repair or remake at KONPOLI's discretion, with photographs of the issue and the order number. This warranty does not cover oils, dirt, or marks from handling; food, drink, or liquid damage; tearing, creasing, or wear from rough page turning; fading from direct sunlight; scratches or abrasion from sharp objects; damage from heat or humidity; cleaning with anything other than a soft cloth (water on standard covers; glass cleaner is acceptable on The Art Book's photographic cover); alterations or repairs by anyone other than KONPOLI; or the natural variation of handmade materials described in Section 3. Care guidance ships with every order and is published at konpoli.com/information.

8. Changes, cancellations, and remakes. Changes may be requested within 48 hours of approval at no cost; after 48 hours the order may be in production and partial or full remake fees may apply. The 48-hour window does not apply to rush orders. Because every product is custom-made, orders cannot be returned or refunded once production begins. Remakes required by errors in the account holder's files or approved proofs are produced at a discounted remake rate of 30% off the standard price, and require proof of the error and supporting documentation.

9. Duplicates and reorders. Duplicate albums reproduce an existing design in the same size and materials; pricing and any promotions are as published at the time of order.

10. Payment. All orders are paid in full at checkout. KONPOLI does not extend net terms.

11. Intellectual property and permissions. Account holders retain all rights to their images and warrant that they hold the rights to reproduce them. KONPOLI retains all rights to its designs, product names, and materials. KONPOLI photographs or films finished products for its own marketing only with the account holder's written permission.

12. Limitation of liability. KONPOLI's liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order. KONPOLI is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or client relationships.

13. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.

14. Changes to these terms. KONPOLI may update these terms; the version in effect on the order date governs that order.

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e‑mail address or mailing address. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

    • The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

Do We Use Cookies?

Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information).

We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart, understand and save your preferences for future visits and keep track of advertisements.

Do We Disclose Any Information To Outside Parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
