Design & Files
We recommend intuitive applications like Smart Albums and Fundy, or Photoshop. Design spreads in sRGB at 300 DPI to the exact dimensions for your size; spread templates are at konpoli.com/product/album-templates.
Three options: we design the spreads and the covers for you; you design the spreads and we design the covers; or you design both. Cover and slipcase layout templates for each size and thickness are at konpoli.com/product/album-templates, and short video tutorials are on our YouTube channel.

No. The spread dimensions and templates already include the trim: about 0.197 inch (5 mm) is cut from each edge during binding. Design to the full template size, run background images all the way to the edge for a full-bleed look, and keep faces, text, and anything important at least 0.197 inch inside every edge.

Our albums range from 15 to 50 spreads; The Art Book ranges from 10 to 50 depending on spread thickness. For special projects we can often stretch those boundaries, so don't be afraid to ask.
All of our pages are 1 mm thick, with the exception of The Art Book, which has three levels: Elegant at 0.74 mm (the original), Standard at 0.94 mm, and XL at 1.44 mm.

Regular debossing has no color; the design is pressed into the album or box surface, printed exactly as typed on your submission form, or from your own design in 4x4 or 8x8 configurations. Submit debossing files in EPS or high-resolution JPG.
Debossing with a choice of gold, silver, or rose gold. Foil debossing is not suitable for velvet.
Yes. A one-time $45 fee creates a metal cliché for your logo; all subsequent debossing is free. Logos are made about 3 to 3.5 inches wide, ideally from an EPS file. Debossing does not work on photographic cover albums.
Foam under the cover makes the album soft to the touch and adds volume. We recommend no foam when adding debossing.
Logo, debossing, and UV application on the lid default to landscape unless you specify otherwise in Additional Instructions.
Production, Shipping & Delivery
12 business days. Transit from Europe typically takes 2 to 3 days, and orders clear U.S. customs on arrival, which occasionally adds a few days. For a firm date, a reveal, a wedding, an event, build at least one extra week into your timeline.
Free on all orders over $400 to the U.S., Canada, and Mexico; otherwise a $42 flat rate. Australia and Japan are a $65 flat rate. We ship worldwide; other countries receive a quote before the order.
Within 48 hours of approval, at no cost. After 48 hours the order may be in production and partial or full remake fees may apply. The 48-hour window does not apply to rush orders.
Yes. Final Product videos and photos (styled visuals of the finished piece) add 2 business days and deliver within 2 weeks: MP4 in 16:9 and 9:16 at 60 to 90 seconds, JPEG in 4:3 and 3:4. Production videos (behind the scenes at our facility in Greece) add 4 business days and deliver within 3 to 4 weeks. All files are digital and web-ready.
Rush & Holidays
Select Rush when adding a product: $99 per item, and the item ships within 7 calendar days instead of 12 business days. Rush accelerates production, not transit; shipping and customs follow the standard timeline. Standard rush is not available from November 15 through January 5.
During the holiday season, a 7-day production turnaround for $198. Production is rushed, not transit.
The holiday season is our busiest time of the year, and we want to ensure your studio orders arrive in time for Christmas. Please review the following deadlines:
- Guaranteed Christmas Delivery: Orders must be placed by Sunday November 15th at 11:59 PM EST.
- Final Shipment Date: All holiday shipments will leave our facility no later than December 15th.
- Holiday Rush Order Service: Available with a 7-day turnaround for $198. We can rush production, not transit.
Orders placed by November 15th (without rush) will be produced on a first-come, first-served basis and may take up to 4 weeks.
Orders placed between November 16th and December 15th may require up to 6 weeks.
Outside of the holiday period, our standard production time is 12 business days. Please also note that our production facility will be closed on December 24–25, December 31 and January 1.
We strongly recommend placing your orders early to secure timely delivery during this busy season.

Quality & Warranty
All orders must be opened and inspected within 10 calendar days of delivery. If the exterior shipping box shows any damage, the recipient must photograph and film the exterior prior to opening, as well as film and photograph the interior packaging and product condition upon opening, so a claim can be submitted with FedEx or DHL. Claims submitted after 10 calendar days will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. In the absence of documented exterior box damage or clear evidence of shipping-related impact to the interior packaging, KONPOLI cannot guarantee a free reprint or remake.
Three tiers from delivery. Binding and construction, for life: binding separation, adhesive failure, pages detaching. Materials and finish, 12 months: cover delamination, lifting foil or debossing, endsheet separation. Anything visible on arrival, 10 days: print quality, color against your approved files, spec errors, and shipping damage. Remedy is repair or remake at our discretion; send photos and your order number. Full terms at konpoli.com/terms-and-conditions.
Damage from use rather than manufacture: oils and dirt from handling, food, drink, or liquid damage, tearing from rough page turning, fading from direct sunlight, scratches from sharp objects, heat and humidity, cleaning with anything but a soft cloth, alterations by anyone other than KONPOLI, and the natural variation of handmade materials, which is character, not defect.
Every album is handmade and designed to be enjoyed; a few habits keep it that way. Handle it with clean hands. Wipe covers with a soft cloth, dampened with water for stronger marks; The Art Book's photographic cover also takes glass cleaner. Keep food and drink away, and if water reaches the pages, pat them dry with a soft cloth and leave the album open to dry. Turn pages gently. Store away from continuous direct sunlight. Keep it clear of sharp or abrasive objects.
