Build Books and Delivery Books for Collector Cars

KONPOLI makes build books, delivery books and collection books for collector cars: the specification and build of a single car, the book handed over with the keys, or a whole collection in one bound volume. Each book is bound by hand in Italian leather or linen in KONPOLI's European workshop, which has bound books for 45 years, from a single copy to a run of hundreds. A single copy is produced in 12 business days after proof approval.

The Build Book

A bespoke car is specified for months before anyone drives it.

The build book keeps all of it: the paint samples, the leather and stitching choices, the factory visit, the photographs from the line.

Bound in a leather chosen to sit with the interior, with the chassis number debossed on the cover if you like.

It becomes part of the car's story, and of its provenance when it changes hands.

The Delivery Book

The handover is the moment the owner remembers.

Photographed on the day and delivered a few weeks later in a presentation box, the delivery book turns the handover into something the owner keeps on the coffee table.

Dealers and brand ambassadors give it as the last touch of the purchase.

  2. The design. Send the photographs, documents and specification, or print-ready files from your team; our design team lays out the book, and you approve a proof before anything is bound.
  3. The craft. Bound by hand in our European workshop: Italian leathers chosen to sit with an interior, linens, debossing, slipcases and presentation boxes.
  4. The delivery. Worldwide with FedEx and DHL. A single copy is produced in 12 business days after proof approval.

Materials

Genuine Italian leather and Dutch linen. Photographic covers with leather-grain lamination. Four varieties of Fuji DP II professional paper. Blind and foil debossing in gold, silver, and rose gold, for a name, a chassis number or a date. Slipcases, folio boxes, and real wood presentation cases cut by our own carpenters.

The showroom

Owners and dealers are welcome in the Wynwood showroom by private appointment: bring a leather sample from the interior and compare it against ours.
KONPOLI is based in Miami, Florida and ships finished books worldwide. Local clients visit the showroom by appointment; owners, dealers and collectors elsewhere work with us remotely from the first conversation to the final proof.

FAQ

What is a build book for a car? A bound record of how one car was specified and built: the options, the materials, the factory photographs and the documents, made for the owner and kept with the car.

What is a delivery book? A book of the handover day, photographed at delivery and bound for the owner, often given by the dealer in a presentation box.

Can the leather match the car's interior? Yes. Choose from our Italian leathers and linens to sit with the interior, and deboss a name, a chassis number or a date in gold, silver or rose gold.

Can you make one book for a whole collection? Yes. One chapter per car, with matching volumes added as the collection grows.

Can a dealer order a book for every delivery? Yes. Each delivery book can be a single copy, and a dealer can order one for every handover.

How long does it take? A single copy is produced in 12 business days after proof approval, plus shipping. Larger orders are quoted with their own timeline.

How does pricing work? Every project is quoted individually, based on format, materials, page count and the number of copies. The conversation starts with the car.
